Ebrown Chores for Teachers
Chores@ understands how teachers are often parents too! Chores@ realizes teachers need planning time to construct their lesson plans while moving at the speed of life. Chores@ respects educators all across the nation building quality lessons for America’s children. Chores@ founder Eric Brown has taught A.P. World History, Social Justice, U.S. History, World History and numerous co-taught classes at Hazelwood East High School in St. Louis, Missouri over the past twenty years. I know the organizational skills it requires to teach, coach and raise a family.

So I created Lesson Plans@ to assist teachers in doing what they love doing, TEACHING! Lesson Plans@ are educational resources that I have compiled into a Library of Educational Resources over my decades of teaching high school social studies classes. Lesson Plans@ become your lesson plan. Teachers can reproduce the handmade accompanying educational activities designed to increase student achievement.
Sankofa Principle
“There is nothing wrong with going back and fetching what you forgot.”
Eric Brown

I often said to my students that you have to go back to go forward.
Our class routinely began with a ‘bell-ringer activity’ requiring student to apply the Sankofa Principle. Students were given a pre designed DO NOW ACTIVITY that required them to answer questions based on our previous lesson to use the following Webb’s Depth of Knowledge (DOK) Levels 1 Recall, Level 2 Concepts, Level 3 Strategic Thinking and Level 4 Extended Thinking.
