Lesson examines the American Revolution 1765 and 1783. Teacher follow activities 1-3. Start with classroom discussion what students already know about the Revolutionary War. Have students get out their chromebookto use as a search engine throughout the lesson. Start next with having the students completing the DO NOW Activity. Follow-up with discussing the correct answers for all students then collect student work. Next, teacher use the LECTURE NOTES as further classroom discussion. If you choose, have students take notes. Distribute to each student (1) handout Internet Activity American Revolution. Have students use their chromebook to research the American Patriots in the Thirteen Colonies defeatingthe British in the American Revolutionary War with the assistance of France, winning independence from Great Britain and establishing the United States of America.
